Decades of research have proven conclusively that a vegan diet is the healthiest way to live.
Studies show that vegans weigh less; live longer; have lower cholesterol, blood pressure and rates of type 2 diabetes; a lower risk of heart disease, and lower rates of cancer.
Eating plant-based means you’ll be around longer for your family — and they’ll be around longer, too.
According to the American Dietetic Association, vegan diets “may provide health benefits for the prevention and treatment of certain diseases, and are appropriate for every stage of life.”
The Earth can no longer sustain animal agriculture. In order to protect our families and the generations to come, we need to start making better choices.
Animal agriculture generates more global greenhouse gas emissions than all forms of transportation combined. It’s not cars that are killing our planet — it’s meat, dairy, and eggs.
The oceans create the majority of the earth’s oxygen through tiny plants called phytoplankton. If we continue to destroy them through overfishing and pollution, human beings will not survive.
Just like our beloved cats and dogs, farm animals feel love, pain and fear. Cows, pigs, and chickens all have personalities, emotions, and families. Like any other animal, they’re individuals, and they each want to live a life free from suffering.
If you wouldn’t eat a dog, why a cow? Help us protect the innocent who have no voice. The choice is on your plate. If you love animals, think twice about eating them.
What are they? Ag-Gag laws are laws that seek to "gag" would-be whistleblowers and undercover activists by punishing them for recording footage of what goes on in animal agriculture. They were originally designed to prevent the public from learning about animal cruelty.
In The United States, several states have have introduced versions of a model Ag-Gag bill, and in half a dozen states, they remain law. Some of the states that actively have Ag-Gag laws are Montana, North Dakota, Missouri, Arkansas, and Iowa.
